Tanisha Locus In 1991 Tonisha “Jade” Locus defied the odds; she graduated from an inner city high-school after having a baby at 16, Jade is a native New Yorker where she continued her education and graduated from the College of New Rochelle with her B.A. In 2001 Jade become a school teacher in Bronx and working with children helped her to foster her skills of creativity, planning and organizing. These skills helped her to branch out into wedding and event planning. She began event planning in 2004 in New York and then decided to move to Atlanta to share her vision and joy of fabulous events and this is when the official company J.A.D.E. Weddings %26amp; Events. Even with a love for event planning she realized that her passion has always been with children and making sure that every child could realize their potential so Jade founded Children Are Precious Too Inc. which is a non-profit organization geared to helping pregnant teenage girls and there new born find various services that they may need to continue being productive in their lives. In early 2008 Jade was voted as one of the chairpersons of Rocks Networking Unlimited.
